'Twas the Night Before Surgery

Sadly, I don't have anything witty or entertaining to say tonight. I just want to say thank you to all of you who have called me, emailed me, lit candles for me, prayed for me (and my family), sent me cards, and those who have offered to visit me and bring us meals. One of my friends in Europe told me "there are candles burning all over Germany" for me. What a lovely mental picture that is! I am very, very blessed to have all of you in my life.

And now, you are on the other side of that successful surgery and home from the hospital. In the immortal words of Johnny Nash: "I can see clearly now the rain is gone . . . It's gonna be a bright, bright, sun-shiny day." Praise God!
